Job Description

Cost & BOM Control: Drive design-to-cost optimization and manage BOM targets from acquisition to SOP.

Sourcing Execution: Lead cross-functional sourcing teams, negotiate contracts, and apply TCO to select final suppliers.

Project Management: Track supplier milestones, sample delivery, and change management until SOP; maintain live pricing in ContTech systems.

Risk & Compliance: Identify supply risks and define mitigation actions; negotiate and archive project-specific contracts.

Series Support: Translate product roadmaps into purchasing strategy; drive cost-reduction, localization, and annual price negotiations post-SOP.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain

3+ years in automotive or industrial procurement

Expert-level command of ContiTech purchasing processes, negotiation techniques, and cross-cultural communication

Expert-level technical understanding of components and commercial/contract law knowledge

Advanced analytical problem-solving, strategic thinking, and proficiency in SAP, SupplyON, MS Office, and Fides

Advanced knowledge of supply chain procedures and regional market dynamics

Fluent English; ability to operate effectively across different cultures
