Job Description

As a valuable team member of the Global ESH team you are managing Security & Loss Prevention by guidance, executing and supporting to safeguard operations, systems and knowledge in compliance with applicable obligations and to sustainably and continually improve the Global & Travel Risks related performance - in global responsibility for the ContiTech organization, including all CT-related locations and entities and in alignment with Business Areas.

Key tasks:

  • Develop the topic of Security & Loss Prevention (in relevance to the company strategy and in alignment with respective stakeholders) to ensure compliance and improve the management and performance of Global & Travel Risks as leading subject matter expert.
  • Derive tasks, projects and programs from the CT strategy for Security & Loss Prevention focusing on the requirements of Global & Travel Risks and lead relevant projects in this area of expertise.
  • Ensure that Security & Loss Prevention is in alignment with internal and external compliance obligations, such as internal rules and applicable international standards.
  • Gather, analyze and report Security & Loss Prevention related performance data. Review Global & Travel Risks-related performance and management system to derive required improvement actions and improvement potentials.
  • Identify, gather and report Security & Loss Prevention related risks, harms and prospective changes and impacts. Ensure mitigation actions and preparedness.
  • Identify, gather and report incidents and support requirements. Intiate and contribute to corrective actions, improvement projects and programms.
  • Document Security & Loss Prevention relevant information. Interact with respective networks and communities to ensure effective awareness on Global & Travel Risks topics.
  • Identify, gather and report binding compliance obligations with relevance to Security & Loss Prevention. Ensure that Global & Travel Risks obligations are communicated and effectively implemented and monitored.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Security Management, International Relations, Political Science, Intelligence or War Studies)
  • Certification as (Travel) Security Manager, (Global) Risk Expert, ESH Manager, or equivalent experience
  • Profound experiences in Security related function
  • Professional experience in Management of Global & Travel Risks desired
  • Experience in leading large projects and/or steering topics globally
  • Fluent English language skills
  • International experience desired
