Supply Chain Procurement Specialist
Job Description
Within your role you ensure an efficient management of raw materials and especially for merchandised products, especially based on following tasks:
- BA-Level support for all raw material and inbounds logistics topics
- Stablish procurement tactical plan in order to maximize the profitability and minimize the production rupture risks
- Manage total risk exposure, risk mitigation investments and risk transfer pricing in line with governance
- Ensure know-how transfer between plants
- Strong collaboration with PUR to mitigate supply risks
You ensure efficieny and transpareny for the specific product segment of Service and Merchandise articles, especially for:
- Inventory levels
- Replenishment management
- Operation based on SIOP results
- If not defined differently operative responsibilty (POs, etc.)
You are in the lead for projects with focus on supplier switch (e.g. switch from European supplier to Asian supplier)
- Define ramp down / ramp up scenarios
- Provide forecasts to the supplier
- Define supply strategy (make to stock vs. make to order) to ensure availability even under high volatile conditions
You escalate delays / backlogs at suppliers side and create (together with the supplier) a recovery plan.
You are the contact person for purchasing department in case of changes / issues on merchandise goods.
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in Supply chain Planning or Purchasing (good cross-fucntional knowledge)
- Experience in design of SCM processes
- Excellent know-how in SCM tools and methods, in particular familiarity with the supply chain planning area
- Deep SAP know-how
- Project management experience in major SCM projects, preferably in an international context
- Proven track record in implementing SCM processes and IT systems
- High level regarding SCM Process understanding
- First leadership experience desirable
- Strong communication, facilitation & moderation skills, in a highly operational & dynamic context
- Successfull working experience in an international organization / context
- High level of customer orientation
