CBS (Continuous Improvement)_Intern
Job Description
Job Objective:
Support the implementation and strengthening of the continuous improvement culture within the plant through the application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and CBS tools (Continental Business System / Continuous Business System), contributing to organizational development towards operational excellence
Main responsibilities:
1. Provide support to the different areas of the plant on issues related to continuous improvement and CBS methodologies.
2. Participate in identifying improvement opportunities and support the execution of process optimization projects.
3. Collaborate in the implementation and monitoring of CBS tools such as:
- 5S
- Visual Management (VM)
- Standard Work (SW)
- Structured Problem Solving (SPS)
- Leader Standard Work (LSW)
4. Support internal continuous improvement audits, documenting findings and proposing improvement actions.
5. Follow up on CBS indicators.
6. Participate in Kaizen workshops and cross-functional improvement activities.
7. Contribute to promoting the Continuous Improvement culture and organizational change within the plant.
8. Support basic training on CBS tools and methodologies for operational and administrative staff.
9. Maintain active communication with the internal continuous improvement network for coordination of activities and follow up.
Qualifications
Required profile:
* Active student of Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Admin., or a related field.
* Interest in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
* Basic knowledge of Lean tools and problem-solving.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power Bi)
* Intermediate English
* Analytical skills, organization, and teamwork.
