Global Supply Chain Management Applications

Job Description

  • Define and drive the global SCM application strategy and roadmap, including lifecycle management for analytics and planning tools (e.g. SAC, R‑Tool, Planalyze) to support ContiTech’s SCM digitalization across all Business Areas and locations.
  • Act as global application process owner for SCM analytics and planning solutions by defining system–process responsibilities (RASI), standard processes, KPIs, and best practices, and by monitoring solution effectiveness.
  • Lead application developments, enhancements, and rollouts, including demand planning, capacity planning, performance analytics, and reporting use cases; prioritize requirements and ensure functional testing and user acceptance.
  • Manage global user enablement and support, building and coordinating a strong local key-user community, providing training, guidelines, and second-level support for tools such as SAC and Planalyze.
  • Ensure stable application operations and governance, including coordination with IT and external providers, budget management, authorization and role concepts, and definition of service level agreements.
  • Establish and enforce global application master data and analytics standards, ensuring high data quality, consistent planning logic, and harmonized reporting structures across regions, plants, and Business Areas.

Qualifications

  • Degree in economics, engineering, operations (university / university of applied science)
  • More than 5 years’ professional experience in SCM, Operations or IT
  • Broad experience in design of SMART SCM processes
  • Excellent know-how regarding the common SCM applications, tools and methods in particular familiarity with the lean management techniques
  • Excellent SAP know how (SD/PP)
  • Experienced working successfully on SCM projects on an international level
  • Proven track record in implementing SCM processes and IT systems
  • Project or functional leadership experience
  • Fluent English language skills written and spoken
  • Strategical thinking and strong analytical skills
