Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our growing finance team in Changshu, China. • Process and validate financial transactions, including issue invoices, generate AR reports, and prepare reconciliation documentation, etc.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and financial statement preparation
• Communicate effectively with sales team and customers, internal departments, and external stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and inquiries
• Utilize accounting software and financial systems (such as SAP) to record, organize, and analyze financial data
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making
• Monitor and reconcile customer statements and accounts receivable balances
• Support the audit process by providing documentation and explanations for transactions and account balances
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and service level agreements

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable field
• 1-3 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related role
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (SAP or similar platforms preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
• Excellent mathematical and numerical aptitude with strong analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience with invoice processing, accounts payable, or accounts receivable functions
• Familiarity with imaging workflow applications or document management systems
• Multilingual capabilities (Mandarin Chinese is a plus)
• Experience working in an international or multicultural environment
• Knowledge of accounting compliance and regulatory requirements
• Certification or progress toward professional accounting credentials (such as CPA or equivalent)
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting
