Quality Engineer

Job Description

Administer plant IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems, including setup, review, and updates to quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records
Organize and conduct internal audits (system, process, product, and customer audits) and monitor corrective actions
Monitor and report quality performance metrics (KPIs) including scrap, waste, and customer complaints in cooperation with plant controlling and production
Conduct quality checks during production phases; stop production processes when quality requirements are not met and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Provide training on IATF-related standards, product surface quality, and customer quality requirements
Support the Quality Manager in preparing data for management reviews
As the role of quality planning in FS, follow PLC process, Identify potential quality risks throughout the product lifecycle and drive preventive actions with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems, with proven implementation experience
Familiar with quality tools including APQP, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and MSA methodologies
Comprehensive understanding of the APQP Development Process and its application throughout the product lifecycle
Exceptional analytical and decision-making capabilities with a track record of resolving complex quality issues
Superior communication abilities, with demonstrated proficiency in conflict resolution
