THE POSITION
Supply Chain & Operations Student Co-op
Year-Round | Multiple Semester Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and analytical student to join our Supply Chain team in a year-round Co-op opportunity. This position is designed to continue across multiple semesters, providing the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain and materials management within a real-world manufacturing environment.
As a Co-op on the Supply Chain team, you will support activities related to material planning, production planning, inventory management, purchasing, logistics, and supply chain performance. You will gain hands-on experience using business systems and data to help ensure materials are available to support production and customer requirements.
You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to analyze supply chain processes, resolve material and inventory challenges, improve efficiency, and contribute to projects focused on cost, service, inventory accuracy, and operational performance.
Schedule: Year-round opportunity; expected to continue across multiple semesters. Schedule will be coordinated around the student's academic requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with material and production planning activities to support manufacturing requirements.
- Monitor material availability, inventory levels, and potential shortages that could impact production.
- Support inventory management activities, including inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and analysis of excess or obsolete materials.
- Assist with purchasing and procurement activities, including purchase order tracking and supplier follow-up.
- Support monitoring of supplier deliveries, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Assist with receiving, warehouse, and logistics activities as needed.
- Collect, analyze, and report on supply chain data and key performance indicators.
- Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel to research, analyze, and maintain supply chain information.
- Help identify opportunities to improve material flow, inventory accuracy, scheduling, and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and other departments to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
- Document findings and present project updates, recommendations, and results to Supply Chain and Operations leadership.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Students must be at a minimum sophomore standing with a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Basic understanding of supply chain, inventory management, logistics, or manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
- Coursework or experience related to supply chain management, logistics, operations, procurement, or inventory management.
- Experience with SAP, ERP systems, or other supply chain management software.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, data visualization, or other analytical tools.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, purchasing, or logistics experience.
- Experience working with inventory, production planning, or material requirements.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or process improvement methodologies.
- Experience completing data analysis or process improvement projects.
