Warehouse Supervisor SLPZ IAM2

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and organized Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at our San Luis Potosí City facility (SLPZ IAM2). In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage a team of warehouse associates, and ensure efficient inventory management while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure optimal productivity and team development
  • Oversee inventory management operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities to maintain accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards; conduct regular safety audits and training
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and generate operational reports
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance workflow
  • Manage equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to ensure all warehouse machinery operates safely and effectively
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to support professional development
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Proven expertise in inventory management and warehouse operations
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse-related software
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Forklift certification or material handling equipment operation experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with lean management or Six Sigma methodologies (preferred)
  • Physical ability to perform warehouse duties and work in varying environmental conditions
