Industrial Mechanic - Utility
Job Description
An Industrial Mechanic Utility position is responsible for has been created to completing some basic Industrial Mechanic maintenance activities. The intent of this position is to develop associates to become full-time Industrial Mechanic.
Responsibilities will include:
• Plant Oiling of Equipment
• Pull Oil Samples
• Painting
• Forklift Driver
• Preventative Maintenance on Dust Collectors
• Cut Production Cores
• Building of Creform products
• Simple Mechanical PM’s
• Hang things such as signs, phones, poster, brackets
• Floor Patching
• Fabrication of sheet-metal, steel & wood components
• Will assist/train with qualified Industrial Mechanics
Qualifications
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must be a team player
• Must be willing to work 12 hour shifts, both day & night shifts
• Must supply own basic set of tools
• Must be willing to continuous education, to include college classes, learning from text books, videos, etc.
• Associates Degree preferred
Additional Information
- Starting Pay of $32.42 per hour with the ability to get an additional $2.50 per hour with on-the-job training for welding certifications.
- $1.00 per hour night shift premium pay
