Material Process Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a new team member in Nyíregyháza, Hungary!
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Manage industrialization projects for alternative materials and new production technologies for Rubber Metal Parts and Air Springs
▪ Organize and set up new compounds at the local Compounding Center, including compound relocations in collaboration with Product and Process Industrialization
▪ Conduct laboratory testing on alternate materials and compounds, evaluating and interpreting results to ensure compliance with product requirements
▪ Support Purchasing, SCM, and Material Development in technical discussions regarding alternate raw materials and supplier implementation
▪ Drive material savings, hazardous material phase-out, and cost improvement initiatives while maintaining product quality and customer focus
▪ Facilitate technology transfer, knowledge sharing, and troubleshooting support between facilities
Qualifications
- Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Engineer, Technician with relevant experience or correlated areas.
- Experience in the implementation of technical products.
- Experience with technical rubber products and application fields.
- First experience in Project Management beneficial - Planning, Leading, Monitoring, Risk Management
- English and Hungarian language knowledge is a must!
